Galt is home to our 3200 square foot functional training studio. This is where we host our personal training and group training sessions all year round. We also workout at Dickson Park during our popular outdoor sessions! Book your FREE workout today!

OUR SUCCESS DEPENDS ON YOU

You can choose to join our personal training program where you will work directly with your coach who will tailor a program specifically for you. Or, choose to join our Group Training where you will be led through a variety of circuit based workouts at your own pace.

Ida's fitness journey started in sports and seamlessly transitioned to functional fitness after leaving competitive athletics.

 

As a coach, she tailors plans to meet clients where they are, achieving incredible results and reaching health and fitness goals.

 

Specializing in beginners and intermediates, Ida rejuvenates love for fitness, shares knowledge, and fosters optimal movement.

 

Beyond immediate goals, she emphasizes making health and fitness a lasting part of clients' lives. Ida's ideal client is a hardworking individual ready to embrace new challenges and push boundaries!

"Charlotte is one of the most down to earth people you will ever meet, her ability to connect with her personal training members on a deeper level is truly special. Char's quite the adventurer. Some of her notable experiences include getting stung by multiple jellyfish, swimming with the worlds largest fish (the whale shark) and achieving an Advanced level Free Diver certification all while traveling through south-east Asia. 

Char's experience while working at health food stores in the region has led her to have a unique approach to nutrition. She now dedicates her time to her client's success, ensuring that each member at ProActive is guided towards long-term health."

"Jenny is one of the most humble people when it comes to her accomplishments. She was hired by Toronto Pearson Fire right out of school. She's now an acting captain as well as an instructor for FESTI (Fire and Emergency Services Training Institute). 

Jenny is currently part of the world record holding team for the mixed relay on the Canadian Fire Fit course. Initially, her pursuit to develop into a top-level competitor led her to become a ProActive member. Soon after Jenny knew that she had to be a part of this movement even more by becoming a fully certified coach! Jenny is personable, professional and passionate when it comes to leading her group fitness classes."

Sebastian's fitness journey started in his youth, engaging in various sports!

 

Discovering a love for strength training. Self-taught in fundamentals, Sebastian shared his knowledge with friends and family, sparking a passion for fitness. Driven by positive impact, he pursued a formal education, earning a Fitness and Health Promotion diploma and coaching certifications.

 

This deepened his understanding of functional training, boosting his confidence to impart knowledge.

 

Now, Sebastian channels his enthusiasm into weekly group classes and personal training sessions at the studio, thriving on helping individuals achieve their fitness goals and discover the joy of newfound fitness passion.

"Coach Wendy Hind has been a ProActive Member since 2017. Wendy is one of the nicest most genuine, thoughtful people you will ever meet. Her strong work ethic through the years inspired her to pursue a professional fitness coach designation and has joined our team so she can inspire others to be the person they want to be!

Being a fitness coach was one of Wendy's lifelong goals and we are so happy she has achieved this milestone and has joined us in delivering a professional training experience for others. Get ready to be pushed, inspired and learn new techniques from Wendy.

Wendy specializes in one on one personal training for women 40+. Especially those that want to be the best moms they can be!

"Described as goal-oriented and driven, Marsha’s keen work ethic is known to inspire those around her.
 

She brings with her a therapeutic background in massage therapy and years of experience in personal training, group fitness and yoga instruction and mindfulness meditation. Her greatest passion is empowering people to feel more alive through movement.

CLASS STYLES

At ProActive Training we believe in providing our members with a high-value training experience. We do this by implementing our specially designed workouts that focus on proper body mechanics, conditioning, strength, core and balance. Our programs are unlike any other training experience which you may have experienced before, sessions are effective yet enjoyable for all fitness levels.

BURN

MONDAYS

Focuses on high-intensity interval training (HIIT), designed to improve lower body strength and build lean muscle. This workout incorporates mini leg resistance bands, dumbbell, kettle bell, steppers, sleds, body weight, and med ball exercises to blast your legs and target your core muscles. Get ready to feel the BURN.

GET JACKED

TUESDAYS

Focuses on upper body strength movements that are proven to help you gain lean muscle, strength, and endurance. We combine a variety of functional training movements that will have your arms feeling like jello. Come reap the rewards of a stronger more athletic upper body. You’ll leave this class sweating and feeling accomplished.

SHRED

WEDNESDAYS

It’s the sports-inspired cardio workout for building strength and stamina. This high-energy interval training class combines athletic aerobic movements and plyometrics with strength exercises to ensure maximum calorie burn. You will leave this one drenched in sweat! Designed for all fitness levels, there are always modifications if someone has injuries.

MELTDOWN
THURSDAYS

Time to focus on core & agility! Gaining a strong core has so many amazing benefits. As fitness professionals, we know how important it is to deliver a wide range of workouts that target multiple different types of muscle groups to ensure you’re getting the most out of this program! Get ready to target your most important muscle group.

TRUE GRIT

FRIDAYS

Being a gritty person means that one tends to stick to their goals despite numerous issues, problems, setbacks, and failures. The person has firmness of mind and unyielding courage. The synonyms of true grit are: fortitude, determination, and courage. This is our total body class, hosted on Fridays. Truly a wildcard class. It’s a great way to earn the weekend!

ZUMBA
THURS + SUNDAY

Come and join the hottest dance party in all of Cambridge. Led by Cassandra Lorraine! Zumba is a dance inspired fitness class that is sure to get you moving, sweating and feeling the burn. We turn the entire studio into a party room with music, lights, and motion! Come join the party you will love it! Don't know how to dance? Don't worry as long as you bring a positive attitude anyone can shake it.

HIIT THE PARK

From May-September, we run our very popular outdoor Bootcamps! Our outdoor workouts are very different than the indoor. We use a lot more body weight, we use tires, we use hills, hurdles, weight plates, ropes. Prepare to get down and dirty. Although the workouts are challenging we always make modifications for our beginner members! Come check out a class!

RELEASE AND RECOVER

A rejuvenating class that focuses on stretching, strengthening, muscle release, and breathwork. Moving through postures to promote balance in your mind and body. We host release and recovery classes every Saturday at the studio. Use this as an opportunity to learn more about how your performance in class is directly correlated to your ability to recover! 

(Bring your yoga mat or borrow one)
